The biggest thing that happened in March was our little Ryder got Influenza A which led to pneumonia which led to an empyema in the pleura of his right lung. He had to have surgery and bi lateral chest tubes. He was also on a ventilator and in the intensive care unit for 4 days. He had a 2 week hospital stay and came home with picc line that he had in for almost 5 weeks.

Eddie took the girls to Oak City for some great Easter fun while Ryder and I were still at the hospital. Ryder got home the day before Easter so we had a quiet Easter at home. Ryder wasn't able to walk yet so he didn't get to find Easter eggs, but he had fun with his new Mr. Potato head.

Maddey's best friend Mr. Puss finally got a haircut. Maddey took care of Mr. Puss from when he was a little bald guy and look how he's grown. ;)

Ryder got a new bed to help him sleep after he got home from the hospital. He just loves it and so do the girls. He had a hard time for awhile, but then finally started to feel better.

Family fun and sleeping Libby. She can fall asleep anywhere!
